Description

“Begin with yourself, and turn it from its errors” opens a line attributed to Abu al-Aswad al-Du’ali (d. 688), though the attribution is not certain, as it is also given to another poet; it ends: “and when it has turned away, you are wise.” For a teacher, a coach, a parent, or a mirror in the hallway.

It is written in Thuluth, the grand script of mosque inscriptions, in dark ink over a gouache of a plaster alcove with a round bronze mirror and a small brass oil lamp. Printed exactly as shown.

Printed, framed and delivered inside Saudi Arabia. Cotton canvas on a wooden stretcher with an outer frame in your choice of five colours, made by our Riyadh print partner and delivered to every city in the Kingdom in 3 to 8 working days. Delivery is included in the price.
