Description

“May the rain bless you whenever the rain falls” opens the muwashshah of Lisan al-Din Ibn al-Khatib (1313–1374), the vizier-poet of Granada, and goes on: “O time of our meeting in al-Andalus.” For a lover of al-Andalus, a garden room, or a home that remembers happier days.

It is written in Diwani, the flowing script of the Ottoman chancery, in dark ink over a gouache of tall cypresses and olive branches over a rain-wet terrace of tiles. Printed exactly as shown.

Printed, framed and delivered inside Saudi Arabia. Cotton canvas on a wooden stretcher with an outer frame in your choice of five colours, made by our Riyadh print partner and delivered to every city in the Kingdom in 3 to 8 working days. Delivery is included in the price.
