Thuluth calligraphy wall art. Thuluth is the monumental script: the one on mosque walls, on the kiswa of the Kaaba, on the great Ottoman panels. Its letters are tall and its curves are wide, which is why a single line of Thuluth can hold a whole wall on its own. It rewards distance — read it from across a majlis, not from a desk.
Here are three kinds of Thuluth. Signed originals by Ahmed Alhawary, ink on handmade paper, one of each. Framed prints of Quranic verses and «الحمد لله», printed with archival inks in our UAE workshop from AED 60 rolled and AED 150 framed. And acrylic trays and tissue boxes carrying «المحبة», «الحمد لله» and «هذا من فضل ربي» in Thuluth, cut and finished by hand.
