Arabic calligraphy gifts and wall art in the UAE cost from AED 50 for a mug to AED 8,265 for a signed original on paper; the pieces most people give sit between AED 60 and AED 250, plus a flat delivery fee of AED 25 or 50 per order anywhere in the UAE. Every price includes VAT. Outside the UAE, everything travels by Worldwide Express at a flat AED 250 per order, delivered within 8 days.
How delivery works
Two rates and nothing else: AED 50 per order for wall art (paints, name pieces, originals) and AED 25 per order for décor (trays, tissue boxes, boxes, jars, mugs), anywhere in the UAE, whatever the quantity. There is no free-delivery tier. The exact amount is shown at checkout before you pay.
How long it takes
Everything is made to order in our UAE workshop in 5–7 working days, then handed to the courier. A piece with your own words or name adds one step: we confirm the spelling with you on WhatsApp before anything is printed or cut. Originals marked in hand are in the UAE now and ship in 3–5 days; the rest are written by the calligrapher in 3–4 weeks.
Can I get my own words, or my name?
Yes — that is most of what we make. Write any phrase or name in Mashq Studio (free, no account) in Naskh, Thuluth, Diwani, Kufi, Ruq'ah or Nastaliq, and order it as a paint, a tray or a tissue box; or pick a name from the 296 names already drawn. Personalised pieces are made for one person and cannot be returned.
Who writes the calligraphy
Printed pieces set real calligraphic typefaces shaped in the Studio — no image model draws a letter, anywhere at MASHQ. Signed originals are written by hand by Anwar Alhulwani, Ahmed Alhawary and Rasha Kasim, each one of one. The difference between an original and a print, and why one costs ten times the other, is on original or print.
Where it is made
