Government bodies and authorities — majlis pieces and gifts in Arabic calligraphy

Last updated 9 October 2026.

For a government body or an authority, MASHQ supplies majlis pieces and gifts in Arabic calligraphy — glass bowls, serving trays, dates boxes, tissue boxes and the dallah — against your purchase order, from a numbered quotation, made and finished in the UAE and inspected in Sharjah. Production takes 10–14 working days from approval of the artwork and receipt of payment, for runs up to about 600 pieces.

Choosing what to write, which symbols to use and what size fits each recipient: the gifting officer's guide.

The majlis selection

Standard pieces, each in its sizes, at the corporate list price before volume pricing:

  • Glass bowls with a lid cut with letters or a geometric pattern — Ø 15, 18 and 25 cm, from AED 60.
  • Serving trays, engraved calligraphy pattern — 30 × 20, 40 × 25 and 45 × 30 cm, from AED 100.
  • Dates boxes, cut calligraphy lid — 15 × 15, 20 × 20, 24 × 24 cm, and the Long box 30 × 10 × 8 cm with three compartments, from AED 100.
  • Tissue boxes, cut lid — the cube, the Medium (standard carton) and the Large, from AED 95.
  • The dallah, golden brass, 600 ml — AED 195, at a fixed price.

The body's name or emblem cut into a lid, or engraved on the dallah, is quoted separately; an emblem is needed as a vector file (SVG, AI, EPS or PDF). The spelling of every Arabic line is confirmed in writing before anything is cut.

  2. On the purchase order and payment, you see the artwork within 48 hours, composed in Mashq Studio, and approve it in writing.
  3. Production in 10–14 working days; one photo of the finished run before dispatch; delivery to the address on the purchase order.
