Press kit: facts, photographs, logo

MASHQ's press kit is at studio.mashq.ae/press: published facts, boilerplate in 50, 100 and 200 words, twelve photographs with their rights stated, the logo files, and a one-page PDF. Everything in it is already on our own pages; nothing in it is a claim we have not published.

The kit

• The one-page press kit (PDF)
• Everything as a ZIP: twelve photographs, the logo as SVG and PNG, the credit badge, both PDFs and a fact sheet
• The press page, with every photograph and its caption

The facts in one paragraph

MASHQ is an Arabic calligraphy house in the UAE. At studio.mashq.ae anyone composes Arabic calligraphy in 42 type styles, free in the browser, and orders it made in MASHQ's own UAE workshop: calligraphy paints from AED 60, a name framed for AED 185, acrylic trays from AED 75, tissue boxes at AED 130, and signed originals by named calligraphers from AED 550. Every piece is made after it is ordered, in 5–7 working days, and delivered anywhere in the UAE for a flat AED 25–50 per order. Mashq Learn teaches five scripts online, 43 lessons each, from AED 15 a month. The company is 1click2open LLC, registered in Sharjah Media City. The checked list of what we make, where, and how delivery and returns work is on MASHQ facts.

Using our pictures

The photographs in the kit are MASHQ's own pieces, photographed by MASHQ or set in rooms MASHQ rendered. Editors and bloggers may use them to write about MASHQ with the credit "MASHQ" and a link to mashq.ae; the full terms are on image use. Work by our calligraphers is not in the kit: ask us first and we ask the calligrapher.
