Wedding Favours in Arabic Calligraphy, by the Dozen
Wedding favours in Arabic calligraphy, for planners and families ordering by the dozen: dates boxes, glass jars, napkin holders and censers from the MASHQ shop, made to order in the UAE, with the volume price from 10 pieces (10%, then 12.5% from 25 and 15% from 50). Delivery to one UAE address is AED 25 an order. A run of 10 or more takes 10–14 working days from payment, so count back from the wedding date.

The boxes and jars are made empty: fill them with dates, sweets or sugared almonds from your usual supplier. A tray or a box carries a greeting, the couple's names or a line of poetry; a Quran verse goes only on a framed paint that hangs on a wall.
The volume price
On a written quotation the ladder is worked per item line, each piece in one size on its own quantity: 10–24 pieces 10%, 25–49 pieces 12.5%, 50 or more 15%. At checkout, two codes count the pieces in the cart: MASHQ-VOL12 takes 12.5% from 25 pieces and MASHQ-VOL15 15% from 50; for 10 to 24 pieces, ask for the quotation. Delivery is never discounted.
A worked example. 30 «سكر على سكر» boxes at AED 115 are AED 3,450; with MASHQ-VOL12 (12.5%) they are AED 3,018.75, and delivery to one UAE address adds AED 25: AED 3,043.75 in all.
The names, at the wedding itself
Place cards, the guests' names on the favours, or each guest's name written while they watch: a MASHQ calligrapher can write at the wedding, the milkah or the henna night, for 2 to 8 hours, quoted by the hours, the venue and the date. See a calligrapher at your wedding.
How it goes
- Choose the pieces and the quantities, and the wedding date. Under 10 pieces, order in the shop as usual.
- For 10 or more, ask for a written quotation on WhatsApp or through the quotation form; it comes the same working day. From 25 pieces, the code also works at checkout.
- Payment in full in advance, by card or by bank transfer against the quotation. The invoice is issued on payment.
- 10–14 working days from payment, one photo of the finished run before dispatch, then two courier days to one UAE address.
