Eid Al Etihad is the name of UAE National Day. 2026 marks 55 years since 2 December 1971, so this year's occasion is Eid Al Etihad 55, on Wednesday 2 and Thursday 3 December 2026. For a company or government gift run, the purchase order and payment are due by Tuesday 3 November, for delivery by Thursday 26 November.
This guide is for HR, admin, protocol and procurement teams in the UAE choosing Eid Al Etihad 55 gifts for staff, clients or guests: the dates, a checklist, and what to give whom. A purchase order received after 3 November is re-dated, and delivery before the occasion is no longer promised. Working days are Monday to Friday, without UAE public holidays; runs above about 600 pieces are quoted with their own date.
The checklist: ten steps before you order
- A budget per tier. One tier (staff, clients, leadership), one piece; the name on each can change. The volume discount is set per item line (one piece in one size at its own quantity): 10–24 pieces 10%, 25–49 pieces 12.5%, 50 or more 15%. At store checkout the same ladder is the codes MASHQ-VOL10, MASHQ-VOL12 and MASHQ-VOL15. Delivery is never discounted, and there is no minimum order.
- The names list. One name per line. Paste it into Mashq Studio's batch tool: every name written in calligraphy, one quotation for the list.
- The words. Greetings: «عيد الاتحاد» (Eid Al Etihad), «حياكم الله» (Hayyakum Allah), «أهلًا وسهلًا» (Ahlan wa Sahlan) or «الضيف عزيز» (Al-Dayf Aziz). Or a name, a proverb, a line of poetry. The spelling and vowel marks of every Arabic line are confirmed in writing before anything is cut or printed.
- Adab for sacred words. A Quran verse, a hadith, God's names or the basmala go only on a framed paint that hangs on a wall. They never go on a tray, a dates box, a napkin holder or anything that is set down, eaten from or thrown away.
- The symbols. The federal emblem and the UAE flag are not reproduced as a cut or printed design. The seven stars of the Union, the national colours as the colours of the piece, the dallah and palm shapes, and arabesque and geometric pattern are all fine. No figures of people or animals.
- Your own logo, as a vector. Send your entity's logo as an SVG, AI, EPS or PDF file. A JPEG or PNG is redrawn first.
- Proof approval. The proof arrives within 48 hours of the purchase order. Name one person to approve it in writing.
- Purchase order and payment. The numbered quotation (MQ-Q-…) states its validity, every line at its own quantity and the delivery date. Accept it by signature or purchase order (LPO); pay in full in advance by bank transfer or card payment link, no later than Tuesday 3 November. No cash, no cheque.
- The delivery address or addresses. One flat fee per order to one UAE address: AED 25 for décor, AED 50 for wall art. Several offices or emirates: quoted on the same quotation.
- Invoicing and the supplier file. MASHQ is 1click2open LLC, a Free Zone company in Shams (Sharjah Media City), Sharjah, trade licence 2647497.01. It is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged, and a commercial invoice (not a tax invoice) is issued on payment. On request: the trade licence, a not-VAT-registered letter and the bank's confirmation of the IBAN.
What to give, by recipient
Staff
The Union box, AED 115 on the store, is a long dates box, 30 × 10 × 8 cm with three compartments, with «عيد الاتحاد ٥٥» cut into the lid in Thuluth. Everyone receives the same greeting. If each employee should see their own name, put it on a dates-box lid: AED 200 a box on the corporate list from your names list, or the personalised Thuluth lid box at AED 215 as a single store piece. Clients and partners
The Majlis set, AED 250 a set, pairs the Union dates box with a medium serving tray, 40 × 25 cm, engraved with the same design. The Signature set puts your company's name in the lid of a large dates box, with the same medium tray; its price per set is on the National Day page. Set prices are before the volume discount. For one client rather than a list, the «حياكم الله» (Hayyakum Allah) serving tray is AED 115–165 and the Sunbuli calligraphy dates box is AED 215.
Leadership, guests and delegations
Their name in Arabic calligraphy, framed A3, is AED 185, in one of three scripts. A framed calligraphy paint, from AED 60, is the one place a verse may go when it suits the guest. For the head of a delegation, its members and its staff, tier by tier: delegation and protocol gifts.
For government bodies: the gift rules
A gift from your entity to its staff, guests, delegations or partners is your entity's own decision, made under its own gift policy; we know of no single public UAE protocol-gift policy. When the person receiving the gift is a public official, choose a token piece that carries the giving entity's name or emblem.
Dubai Government employees are covered by Executive Council Resolution No. 12 of 2020, the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct of Dubai Government Employees: employees refrain from accepting gifts of material value, except token gifts that carry the logo of the entity providing them. Federal Government employees, under Cabinet Resolution No. 79 of 2023, do not accept or offer gifts unless in accordance with the relevant legislation.
