The lines here are the ones a graduate keeps on the wall of the first office and the first flat: «العلم نور» (knowledge is light), «وقل رب زدني علما» (my Lord, increase me in knowledge), «من جدّ وجد» (whoever strives, finds), and Ferdowsi's «توانا بود هر که دانا بود» (capable is the one who is wise). Each is written by a calligrapher in Diwani, Thuluth or Nastaliq and printed on cotton canvas or Canson paper, rolled or in one of eight hand-finished frames.
For a gift with the graduate's own name, the name piece sets it in three hands, and the single-letter poster takes their initial.
